Election post
Hey everyone! My name is Danilo and I would love to be your president again! I have a lot of experience in running societies and events and I strongly believe that this will help me with running the Mental Health Society next year! My big plans include:
1.) Running multiple fun and interesting events (e.g. SpeedFriendings, Board Games nights, Kahoots and Quizzes, Picnics and more)
2.) Hosting monthly guest speakers
3.) Collaborating with more mental health charities and organisations
4.) Collaborating with other universities, societies and networks so that members can meet others and make new friends
5.) Collaborate with UCL SSW to help create change in UCL Mental Health Services and support the society
6.) Help the society grow by electing more committee members and expanding its outreach by improving its advertising and getting more members, as well as helping observe more awareness days (e.g. the work that I did in promoting OCD Awareness Week in October)
7.) Above all, I want to ensure that the society is a welcoming, fun and accessible group for all members so that we can enjoy our time at UCL and improve the world by raisining mental health awareness and improving support for it.
