Hey everyone! I’m Calista. I study pharmacology, and I’m thrilled to be running for Diversity & Inclusion in MedTech Executive this year!
I believe that MedTech is an innovative, dynamic, and forward-thinking society that plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the biomedical sciences and a rapidly evolving field of emerging technologies. As Diversity & Inclusion in MedTech Executive, I am eager to build on these efforts by organizing insightful conferences, networking events, and hands-on workshops that will make knowledge about these technologies more accessible, engaging, and inclusive for our diverse student body.
As Senior Editor for my high school’s newspaper, I’ve developed a strong set of organizational and leadership skills, as well as a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset that will help me thrive in this role. Combined with my passion for medical innovation and technologies, I believe that I am well-equipped to make a meaningful and worthwhile contribution to this society.
