Numbers, logic, and a little bit of tech magic—what more could you ask for? I’m standing for the position of Technology Officer in the UCL Math Society because I believe that, in today’s world, mathematics and technology go hand in hand. Whether it’s optimizing event registrations, making our website more interactive, or sprinkling some coding wizardry into our competitions, I want to bring the Math Society’s tech game to the next level.
Having served as Events Officer this year, I know firsthand how important it is to have smooth-running systems that keep things organized and accessible. My experience in event planning, combined with my technical skills, will help streamline how we engage with members—whether through better online platforms, interactive problem-solving tools, or tech-driven social events (MathSoc coding challenge, anyone?).
As Technology Officer, my goal is to make the society more connected, innovative, and tech-savvy. If you’re tired of clunky spreadsheets and outdated systems, vote for me—I promise to keep things running smoother than a well-optimized algorithm.
