Mariam Asif

I am running to maintain my position as marketing officer for the Law for All Society for 2025/2026 !

I am a second year History student and am looking to enter into a career in commercial law after graduating. It can be an incredibly difficult experience when trying to secure training contracts, vac schemes etc, but being part of LfA has made me feel more confident, with the society helping improve accessibility for non-law students to get into law through  hosting events for members in partnership with prestigious law firms.

If elected again, I will:

- continue to ensure the high standards of our social media posts.

- create a more personable feel on our social media to improve engagement and highlight the open and friendly nature of the society.

- continue to work closely with the rest of the committee to ensure that events are promoted precisely, to provide you with as much information about each event as possible.

- engage more closely with our members via our social media channels.

I currently manage the social media for the History society and the non-profit The Future Dreams Project, as well as for LfA, so I have a plethora of experience in marketing.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you'll vote for me :)

Kiki Tan

As a Canva warrior and an avid photographer who will ensure everyone’s best angles are taken for the socials post, I want to help bring all members’ attention to LfA events and to maintain our society’s foundational belief of increasing accessibility to opportunities into law!

Helena Bollen

I’m excited to be standing for the position of Marketing Officer for the Law for All Society because I believe branding and presentation are crucial to success. In my current role as Outreach Officer for Project Access, a nonprofit dedicated to helping high school students gain access to top universities abroad, I’ve gained valuable experience in promoting events and initiatives on social media, as well as engaging with a wide audience. This experience has honed my skills in outreach, communication, and strategy, which I believe are directly transferable to the role of Marketing Officer, where I can help raise awareness about the society’s events, drive engagement, and ensure more people have the knowledge and tools they need to navigate applications and other processes.

Lenie Lteif

I am excited to nominate myself for Marketing Officer for the Law for All Society because I am passionate about helping students from all backgrounds access opportunities in the legal field. As a non-law student, I know how closed-off and intimidating the legal world can seem. The Law for All Society helped me understand how to navigate a legal career and I feel inspired to give back and help students discover these opportunities.

As an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Student Representative, I am committed to making university life more inclusive and supportive for all students. The Law for All Society reflects this goal by opening up the legal profession to students from all academic backgrounds. If elected, I would work to communicate this message effectively, encouraging students who may feel unsure to explore law.

My experience with the Law for All Society has been transformative. I now understand that pursuing a legal career is not only possible but also accessible with the right guidance. The society gave me the confidence to hopefully explore a career in law, and I am excited to help other students experience that same shift in perspective. As the legal world becomes more open, I am motivated to ensure that this opportunity is not taken for granted.

Ultimately, I want to give back to the society that helped me. I aim to ensure that every student knows that the legal world is no longer closed - it is open, and the Law for All Society is the key to unlocking it.

Suhani Singh

Hi, I’m Suhani and I am a First Year International Social and Political Studies student applying for Law For All Marketing Officer. Through the breadth of my degree, I can combine my broad skillset from studying International Relations, History and Languages, with my legal specialism, to ensure LFA remains an inclusive community, committed to expanding legal awareness to all students.

I have gained a variety of both marketing and legal experience, ranging from:

  • Marketing Intern for a Social Enterprise, where I professionally created content for their Instagram and Tiktok accounts, to expand outreach, promote their unique brand image and respond to questions efficiently
  • Working in expert witness legal services, where I developed my legal awareness, team-work and networking skills

By attending LFA application sessions, conversion course talks and LFA recommended law firm events, I understand the importance of consistently promoting insightful opportunities in the success of this society, and helping members develop their interest in law, despite the nerve-racking process.  I hope to expand LFA’s capacity to inform and encourage a much broader range of students, through a consistent online presence and continued engagement with students, in my role as Marketing Officer. In the future, I hope to create more commercial awareness posts, to help members’ develop their interest in law and grow LFA as an accessible first point of contact for all students from diverse backgrounds.
