Hello! My name is Jiyu Kim and I'm eager to share the following visions and initiatives as the President of the Korean Culture Society next year.
1. Various Collaboration and Partnership for Events
Based on member preferences, I will seek opportunities to collaborate with other societies and organisations to engage in more creative and impactful events such as joint cultural festivals, K-beauty sessions, and other intercultural academic workshops to keep up with ongoing trends.
2. Active Support and Feedback taken from Language Lessons
I will constantly meet with the committee—especially our Language Officer—to discuss future Korean language sessions. By implementing regular structured feedback sessions for popular Korean language lesson topics from our students, I will set a welcoming environment where all members can openly share their learning experiences and suggest further improvements. If necessary, I will explore new formats of the lessons for effective learning as well.
3. Strategic Marketing Initiatives
One key insight I noticed as a Marketing Officer last year was the importance of active marketing strategies to attract more members to engage in our diverse activities and events. Hence, leveraging my experience as the Marketing Officer, I will work with the committee to form original and effective marketing strategies along with interactive event ideas to broaden our audience reach and welcome new members to the society.
