Election post
Having served as Collaborations Officer this past year, I’ve gained insight into the inner workings of our society and had the joy of building strong friendships, securing sponsorships for CASF, and deepening my understanding of what truly unites our community. Now, I feel prepared to take on a greater leadership role and help shape our society’s future!
I believe we can strengthen our community by diversifying our events. In addition to our usual social gatherings, I want to focus on creating close-knit settings that encourage deeper connections. Hosting game nights, cooking evenings, and even karaoke and Mafia nights will make our society more welcoming and give members the chance to truly get to know one another.
More importantly, I want UCL to take the lead in these initiatives rather than relying on other societies. By proactively reaching out and inviting them to collaborate, we can establish ourselves as a central hub for the Kazakh student community.
I would also ensure that every member feels represented by strengthening our social media presence. There’s room to grow in how we showcase our culture and Kazakh traditions. We could interview committee members to provide a friendly, familiar face and create weekly interactive content to keep everyone engaged.
Маған қолдау көрсетіңіздер, достар! If elected, I’ll work to ensure that every member feels part of something bigger: a community that makes London feel like a second home!
