Jain Society: Treasurer

I'm standing for the role of Treasurer of the Jain Society because I am passionate about contributing to the Jain community at UCL and want to help manage the financial aspects of the society in an organized and transparent manner. By studying economics and having previous experience in managing finances, I have developed the skills necessary to ensure effective budgeting, fund allocation, and financial planning. I am committed to using my skills to help organise events, raise funds, and ensure the Jain Society remains financially sustainable while fostering a sense of belonging for all Jain students and the wider community. I will ensure the society’s budget is well-structured by tracking all income and expenses and providing regular updates to the committee and its members. I aim to work closely with other committee members to ensure that financial resources are aligned with the society’s strategic goals, especially in organising events that cater to the diverse interests of our members. I understand the importance of balancing financial responsibility with creating meaningful experiences for the community, and I aim to bring a proactive, strategic approach to the role. As Treasurer, I hope to support the society's mission and strengthen its presence at UCL.
