Iranian Society: Treasurer

Just wanna help out and make sure the society runs smoothly—figured I could put my skills to good use :)

I want to be UCL Iranian Society’s Treasurer because I’m passionate about fostering a strong Iranian community on campus and ensuring the society’s financial stability so it can continue to thrive. With my strong organisational skills and attention to detail, I am confident in my ability to manage budgets effectively, track expenses accurately, and secure funding to support exciting events that bring our community together.

As a medical student and a tutor, I am highly disciplined and adept at handling responsibilities under pressure - skills that will help me manage the society’s finances with precision and reliability. I also understand the importance of transparency and accountability, ensuring that members are confident in how funds are used.

Beyond numbers, I see this role as a chance to contribute actively to the society, supporting cultural celebrations, networking opportunities, and social events that strengthen our Iranian identity at UCL. I am eager to collaborate with the committee to make this year impactful, well funded, and full of enriching experiences for all members.
