Election post
Dear friends,
It is with great pride and excitement that I nominate myself for the role of President of the UCL Iranian Society. This society has been more than just a student group—it has been a home, a family, and a source of strength for many of us. I want to continue this tradition, ensuring our society remains a welcoming space, not just for Iranians at UCL, but for all Iranians across London.
Throughout my experiences, I have seen incredible Iranian societies around the world—communities that proudly celebrate our culture through traditional events, dance performances, and cultural showcases. These experiences have inspired me to dream bigger for our own society. If elected, I want to bring that same energy to UCL, creating events that unite us while introducing Iranian culture to people from all backgrounds. Our culture is something to be proud of, and I want to share it with the wider UCL community. Being far from home comes with challenges, but together, we have built something special. I will dedicate myself to strengthening this community, and ensuring every member feels a true sense of belonging. Beyond social and cultural events, I aim to launch new initiatives that support us academically and professionally. A key idea is to organise a careers fair, with media presence, tailored for Iranian students in London.
Join me in making this vision a reality—let’s celebrate our heritage, support one another, and build a society we can all be proud of.
