The Treasurer shall:
- Ensure that all income and expenditure is accounted for.
- Work with the network convenor regarding budgets for any proposed events and activities.
You must be a student whose normal place of residence is outside of the UK to vote for this position.

If elected as Network Treasurer, I will ensure transparent and efficient budget management while aiming to create more scholarship options for international students. I will fairly represent every nationality at UCL in all treasurer-related activities, ensuring no group is over or underrepresented. I will work to improve financial accessibility through subsidies and financial guidance and collaborate with societies to expand funding opportunities. Lastly, I hope to invest in cultural events, networking, and well-being initiatives to strengthen the international student community.
I study Information Management and am on track to achieve a First-Class Honours. The practical theories I learned provide the necessary skills to handle the workload of a treasurer efficiently. I am a globally minded student with academic experience in China, Malta, and the USA. I understand what students of different cultures need, and I am actively making friends with international students from diverse backgrounds to learn about their experiences, perspectives, and challenges, helping me better represent and support them. I will foster inclusivity while optimizing financial resources.
Students should vote for me because I bring strong financial management skills, global experience, and a commitment to fairness. Studying Management and on track for a First-Class Honours, I have the organizational skills needed for this role. My background in China, Malta, and the USA helps me understand diverse student needs, and I actively engage with international students to represent all nationalities equally. I will ensure transparent budgeting, create more scholarship options, and optimize funding to enhance the international student experience.
As a second-year international undergraduate and Ambassador for VP External Engagement, I know how important events are in shaping a memorable UCL experience—the ones you’ll look back on for years to come. But behind every great event is strong financial management and seamless coordination. If elected, I am dedicated to uphold:
- Transparency: Keeping a clear, accessible record of all income and expenditure, ensuring financial accountability for the network.
- Coordination: Working closely with the International Student Network to allocate funds efficiently for events and initiatives.
As Treasurer of UCL Snooker & Pool Club, I successfully managed budgets, secured sponsorships, and ensured financial stability, helping the club grow into a thriving 200-member community. Additionally, my experience as an Accounting Intern at a consulting firm in Hong Kong gave me practical experience to transaction entry, bookkeeping, and financial tracking.
I bring strong organisational skills and meticulous budget management to this role, ensuring the network’s finances are efficient, transparent, and sustainable, supporting the brilliant events that international students enjoys.

If I’m elected as Treasurer for the UCL International Student’s Network, my main goal is to ensure that the network’s finances are managed efficiently and transparently. I want to make sure that every pound is accounted for and used in a way that benefits all members. I’d love to help organize events and activities that bring people together, while keeping everything within budget. I also hope to create clear financial reports so that everyone in the network can see where the money is going and feel confident in how it’s being managed.
I bring practical skills and personal qualities that make me a great fit for this role. I’m good with numbers and have experience using Excel for budgets and balance sheets (learnt from IB Business Management). As an international student, I track my monthly expenses using spreadsheets, which keeps me organised and mindful of spending. I’m detail-oriented, ensuring everything adds up perfectly, and my strong time management helps me balance this role with studies. Plus, I’m a team player who loves collaborating to achieve common goals!
Students should vote for me because I’m reliable, organized, and passionate about making the International Student’s Network the best it can be. As a BSc Management Science student and international student, I’ve created event proposals in high school and managed budgets, so I’m confident in handling finances.
