A well-managed budget isn’t just about balancing numbers—it’s about unlocking opportunities. I am running for Treasurer to ensure the Intellectual Property Society has the financial strength to expand its events, secure key industry partnerships, and provide greater value to its members.

As a first-year History, Politics, and Economics student at UCL, I have developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategic planning. Serving as a Commercial News Editor for the UCL Law Society, I analyze commercial trends and break down complex economic issues—skills that will allow me to make informed, strategic budget decisions for the society. Additionally, my role as a First-Year Representative in SSEES Society has given me direct experience in student leadership to organize events, and ensuring funding is allocated effectively.

Beyond academics, I have hands-on experience managing budgets, securing sponsorships, and tracking expenditures. In high school, I led the funding efforts for student-led projects, successfully negotiating corporate sponsorships to finance events and ensure long-term sustainability. I implemented cost-saving strategies while improving event quality, making financial planning more transparent and accessible.

With my background in financial management and strategic planning, I am confident to strengthen the society’s financial foundation and drive it toward greater success. Vote for me to ensure a well-funded and thriving Intellectual Property Society!
