Roshni Vara

Hi! I'm Roshni, a first year Biology student and I'm applying for Indian Society's social secretary!

I believe I am creative and organised - I've previously helped plan events at my local library for children, so they can be more interested in returning and reading. I’ll also work closely with the committee and other societies to expand our events and build a stronger community.

Some ideas I can help create:

• UCL Bazaar - a fair with stalls selling Indian street food, henna artists on site and live music with performances from Indian Dance Society
• Inter-uni sports day - Kabbadi, Kho and Cricket can be played in competition with other universities with prizes to win at the end
