I am running for Figure Skating Secretary because I want to make this society as exciting and welcoming as possible, inspiring others to share my passion for this incredible sport. Ever since I stepped onto the ice at the age of five, this sport has played a fundamental role in my life!
UCL Frostbite has been the highlight of my year! Every Wednesday, I look forward to skating alongside people who share my enthusiasm and love for the sport. Being part of the showcase and varsity performance was an unforgettable experience, and I truly cherished the opportunity to perform as a team.
My experience in leadership, and my skills in communication and organisation make me highly suited for the role. As an outgoing and approachable person, I am firmly committed to building a close knit and supportive community within the society. No matter where someone is in their figure skating journey, I strive to ensure that everyone feels included, valued, and supported. I am always happy to coach skaters of all levels and help them develop their confidence on the ice.
I would love the opportunity to encourage more people to join the society and, if elected, I will work to make Frostbite an even more inclusive, fun, and engaging community for all!
