Damini Apte

Namaste everyone!

I’m Damini, and I would love to put myself forward for the role of Sanskaar Officer. Hindu Soc has been such a welcoming space for me, and I’m eager to help preserve that sense of community by supporting the weekly sessions and to create opportunities for us to learn together and from each other, deepening our understanding of Hinduism and its diverse practices.

Since childhood, I’ve been actively involved in Shakha, a Hindu community where we come together for weekly activities, discussions, and talks. My experience in planning these sessions has taught me how to create a space that’s engaging and inclusive, which would be valuable in the role of Sanskaar Officer.

I also really enjoy attending the Sanskaar sessions and appreciate how they bring people together while educating us on important Hindu beliefs and practices.

As Sanskaar Officer, I would love to collaborate with other universities to organise engaging events and activities that help strengthen our community and outreach. I am committed to making the weekly sessions interactive and thought-provoking, ensuring that everyone feels connected and included in meaningful discussions.

I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute even more to Hindu Soc and would love your support! :)
