Sneha Sharma

Hi!! I’m Sneha, a first-year Psychology with Education student, and an avid Harry Potter fan since I was 12 - when this series became the first real piece of literature I ever read. This society is already one of the highlights of my week, and I’d love the opportunity to make it even more welcoming and fun as your Welfare Officer!

If elected, I’ll work to keep this a safe, supportive space for all (starting with officially rebranding JKR as She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named-Because-She-Is-A-Terrible-Person). I’ll also help organise exciting events - think movie nights, book discussions, quizzes, arts & crafts, wizarding balls, and real-life filming location tours - so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a die-hard Marauders fan (same!) or still waiting for your Hogwarts letter (also same!).

I'm always happy to lend a ear if you are facing any kind of issues and need support (my friends could vouch for me here), or are simply looking to improve your experience as a member of the society.

As Vice-Head Girl in high school and Course Rep of my program at uni, I’ve honed leadership, and collaboration and communication skills — basically, I’m one step away from joining Dumbledore’s Army, provided I can master Expelliarmus (Harry makes it look pretty easy, to be honest).

So if you want a society that feels like Hogwarts (minus the life-threatening danger), I’d love your vote!

Thank you xx
