Hi everyone!! My name is Simone, and I have been playing handball for 11 years! I was born in Cyprus and am currently studying Economics.

I am so excited to be running for Team Captain of the Women's Team as I absolutely LOVE this society and truly appreciate the effort this year's committee has put into organizing practices, socials, and friendlies, as well as preparing us for the annual BUCS tournament and Varsity!

I am running for Team Captain because I want to bring my own spin to the society by organizing well-planned, engaging, and effective practices for both beginners and experienced players, while ensuring that everyone enjoys playing my favourite sport in the world!

Whether you're an experienced player or a total newbie, I’d love to help you enhance your handball skills and welcome you into our amazing community of handball players at UCL!!
