Graphic Novels and Comics Society: President

Hi all! I'm Jasmine, a second-year anthropology student, current Projects Officer of GNCS! This society has introduced me to so many cool people who have inspired me, both in their skill and imagination—it has also been my favourite space to unwind and share my love for comics and animation and all things silly. It's been amazing to see this community grow and incorporate people from different creative backgrounds, and by running for president I strive to do whatever I can to keep us going! Whether it be incorporating more skill-based workshops for members looking to upgrade their storytelling skills, or implementing more opportunities for collaborative comic projects, I hope to respond to the interests of our wide range of members and elevate your experiences in this society! Everyone I've met here, committee or not, has shaped my own experiences here at GNCS for good, and in my capacity as President, I will do all I can to give back to you guys.
