Chelsie Tan

Hi! I'm running for Marketing Officer so that I can continue my streak in the role for another year. I've learned so much this past year managing the GNCS Instagram account, having been given free reign I hope to give our society a greater reach next year. You can have a look at the posts I have made for 24-25, I put my soul (literally) into them and will continue to do so if I stay in this role. I believe this society can reach even more social media interaction, so that we can create an even better community of avid comic + graphic novel enjoyers! Pro tip: if you vote for me in this role I'll post your meme suggestions on the GNCS page for a whole term.

Jane Lamb

Hi! I’m Jane Lamb, a second year Ancient World student. I am also the current workshop coordinator for GNCS, and I want to try my hand at being the ‘Master of Propaganda’ for GNCS.

As my passion for the society grows each year, I want to continue to help in getting the word out that GNCS is the best society that everyone should join! I am proficient in using Canva, Procreate and CSP, whatever I need to use to make the marketing graphics as eye-catching and appealing as possible. I have experience helping out with some of the previous marketing graphics, I understand the aesthetic of GNCS and wish to keep it consistent but also add new and fresh elements for the coming year. As the current workshop coordinator, I have experience in working well in a group setting and honed good organisation skills in preparing in advance, and these skills would transfer well to this role alongside my creativity. I also handle multiple art accounts so I know a thing or two about handling social media and using different social media platforms. Since GNCS is starting to branch out to conventions, I think it’ll be good to have a website just for GNCS so we can be easily connected to the world outside of niche UCL societies, whether that be a carrd or a tumblr site.  I am chronically online and have a severely brainrotted younger sibling so, unfortunately, I am acutely aware of what the youth are into these days.
