Gaming Society: Discord Officer

Hello there! For those who don't know me, my name is Hamza. I have been the UCLG Discord Officer for 2024/2025, and I would like to run again as Discord Officer for 2025/2026.

I feel in my year in the committee so far, I have supported the server and fellow committee members well. Already, as Discord Officer, I have added several bots to the server (such as the free stuff bot, and a few other moderation bots), introduced a new feedback forum, and tidied and organised several server settings and roles that had been neglected over time neglected. I also updated the server to use Discord's newer social and moderation features - and more recently revamped the server and removed unused channels that had been cluttering the server for members and the other officers.

Furthermore, by running for the second year in a row, since I already know the ins and outs of the server and how the society works, I can get started on my responsibilities much earlier on in the year. And having helped to set up and run 1 year's worth of events, I will be able to use my experience along with the rest of the committee to provide an even higher standard for the society in 2025/2026.

It's been so much fun getting to run this society so far and I am truly excited for what's in store for next year.
