I believe I am an ideal candidate for the Treasurer position at UCL Freestyle Dance Society due to my strong financial acumen and my passion for the arts. My previous experience in budget management and event planning has equipped me with the skills to efficiently handle financial responsibilities, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and strategic allocation of funds. I have a proven track record of managing budgets, streamlining financial processes, and working collaboratively with diverse teams. Coupled with my dedication to freestyle dance and understanding of our society’s creative mission, I am confident in my ability to support our society’s growth and success through sound fiscal management.
I don’t think there’s another society at UCL that offers as much of a variety of dance styles and classes as Freestyle Dance Soc.
That in combination with the extremely welcoming and supportive atmosphere in this community has made it one of - if not the BEST society.
I want to provide our society with as many workshops and classes in as many styles as I can find.
I want to help organise more events for the society members.
But to do that, we need money 😢. So I’ll make sure we use our funds responsibly and extremely efficiently 📈📈📈. So we can see a rise in number of events and classes 😎😎😎.
I don’t have much experience in managing finances aside from my weekly expenses 😭😭😭, but I do maths as a part of my course and I’m pretty confident in doing calculations.
