I am excited to put myself forward for the role of Treasurer of RUMSWFC. With my experience and skills, I am confident that I can ensure the club’s financial stability while making sure our members get the most out of their membership.

This year, I have been working closely with the India Society treasurer, giving me first-hand experience of what the role entails. I have seen the responsibilities of managing budgets, processing payments, handling reimbursements, and ensuring the smooth financial running of a society. Because of this, I already have a clear understanding of the workload and the systems in place, meaning I will be fully prepared to take on this role with efficiency from day one.

I am skilled in budgeting and financial planning, ensuring that funds are allocated appropriately and responsibly. I will also make sure the pitches are promptly booked every week for training. I will make sure that all players purchase their membership so we can maintain fairness and stability within the club. By keeping track of who has paid and ensuring everyone is contributing equally, we can ensure the club operates smoothly and efficiently. I am ready to take on the role of Treasurer with dedication and responsibility.

I joined RUMSWFC last March and I am really grateful I did. Not only did it give me the chance to get back on the field and play football again, but it gave me a really fun and friendly community to do it in. The friends and memories I've made are really special to me anddd I'd love to get more involved in the club--help out with the running of our house and set the fund-ations to create some more epic memories for everyone next season.

While my shots could be more on target, my finance skills are pretty top-notch. I'm quite the OCD (or CDO) and love planning, tracking and organising things. From admin and union-y tasks to organising events, I find it calming (and genuinely kinda fun) to write things down, keep things structured, and make sure everything runs smoothly. So far, I've managed to keep my international student finances healthy and stable--I'll make sure to keep the club financially thriving too.

I also love working in a team and coming up with new ways to level-up and have fun, so I'm looking forward to the opportunity to work with the committee to improve the club for everyone--on and off the pitch. Honesty and communication are big values of mine, and while I'm quite the introvert, I love connecting with people and genuinely appreciate feedback and hearing new ideas on how to improve--as a person, friend, teammate, and ofc club!

Can't wait for another year as your RUMS CDM, and hopefully your CDO treasurer too! #ipromisetokeeptheballandbankrolling ⚽💰
