Football Club (RUMS Women's): 1st Team Captain

I'm pretty sure I've missed fewer games and trainings than I have lectures, and given that I still have my student visa intact, I think this shows my love for both football and this club - and I'd like the opportunity to radiate it more explicitly as your 1s cap next season! 

As a valentine's baby, I believe I got the foundations to spread the love in the team. While I can't promise to guide you to your soulmates, I am defo setting my cupid's arrow to build upon the team dynamic we've already got going where we support and encourage each other, level-up as a team, have fun!!, and of course, bring home more wins (and lovely memories). I'll tap into my organised slightly OCD nature to ensure we get a (full 🤞🏼) squad to the field on time, and clearly communicate all the whats, whens, wheres. I also bring a calm, open-attitude; whether in high-pressure moments or just keep things running smoothly. I see this role as a cool opportunity to show my appreciation and commitment to the team, and I know that in taking this role and striving to lead the team to thrive and grow, I'll grow a lot from it too. 

I like a challenge, and Anika leading us to a fire season and potential league promotion has very possibly set us up for one. Whether to continue the streak we got or to step into new territory, I am excited for the opportunity to support the team to tap into another level of epic rumswfc football- in wins...resilience...and memories ⚽️🔥
