Financial Journalism Society: Head of Events

Hi everyone, I’m Oorvi, a second-year Mathematics student, and I’m really excited to be running for Head of Events!

As Head Student and a public speaking coach in school, I developed strong skills in event planning, communication, and problem-solving.  As Treasurer for the Women in Finance Society this past year, I’ve learned what goes on behind the scenes of a strong society and what makes an event successful.

With the Financial Journalism Society starting fresh this year, I want to help lay solid foundations and create events that are engaging, well-run, and genuinely valuable. I know how important it is to build a sense of community, and I’m excited to make that happen!
