I have been part of the Rendezvous as the economics columnist this year and have found it a rewarding experience. I believe the journal truly reflects the diverse interests held by the students in EISPS Society, and I would love to continue this initiative as the Chief Editor, making sure the Rendezvous remains an integral part of EISPS Society and continues to offer a space for critical engagement and discussion on topics from around the world.

In addition to writing for the Rendezvous, my high school leadership experience as House Captain and Student Leader for Community & Partnership has equipped me with communication and organizational skills that make me a good candidate for Chief Editor of Rendezvous.

If I become the Chief Editor, I will introduce columnists for each global region so that topics from different parts of the world are represented and articles can have a more interdisciplinary approach, something EISPS students value. Moreover, I would like to create a system through which readers can send their comments and opinions on the articles, which can be published in the following issue. I believe this system would encourage more discussion and conversation, making the EISPS Society an even more vibrant community. I would also try to make the journal more accessible and visible to students outside the society so that more people can know about our amazing department and society!
