Why do I love this society? I have always loved languages and linguistics, so this has been one of my favourite societies since I joined UCL! In fact, I have been part of this society since its first year in existence. I have also taught a language for the society, and have attended many sessions over the past 3 years, which have only furthered my love of all things language. 

Why am I running to be treasurer? I feel like this would be the perfect opportunity for me to have a hands-on position in the society, and I don't mind doing some of the boring admin stuff in the background that allows the other (cooler) committee members do their stuff more easily.
