This year we have seen a big change in EELS, with many of our former members flying north to the much beloved SOAS university, and birthing our baby sister, SOAS Endangered and Constructed Languages Society.
Although restricted in many ways by SU policy, we had found nonetheless a way to collaborate and create a fairly large inter-space university for enthusiasts and hobbyists accross the linguistic spectrum - from fantasy to bringing light to minority languages, we have managed to cover a lot this year at EELS.
By electing me, I promise to continue doing what I have done, and further our core activities of Languages Lessons and Academic Talks and fight for increased collaboration so that we may shed the much needed light on Endangered Languages, whilst supporting an ever-increasing commuity of conlangers.
