I'm running for Energy Journal Coordinator again because I’m passionate about creating a space where students can explore and discuss important energy issues and a platform where they can share their work in a meaningful way. Since I’ve done this role before, I’ve gained great experience in running the journal, handling challenges that come with it, I’d love to continue with that and take the journal even further, reaching a wider audience and making a bigger impact.
My experience managing a team-based project on pollution has also given me key organizational skills that are perfect for this role. I coordinated weekly results, so that we met deadlines and present a strong final report at the start of the academic year. That experience really showed me how important clear communication and teamwork are when trying to achieve a shared goal, both of which are crucial for managing a journal.
In addition to teaching me how to manage my time effectively and meeting deadlines in a timely manner, my part-time job also taught me how to balance other obligations with my studies. I am committed to maintaining the journal's high standards, developing meaningful academic relationships, and making sure that our society continues to have a genuine, positive impact.
