Drama Society: Vice-President

I am standing for the role of Vice President of Drama Society for the coming academic year as a previous Committee member for the year 2024-2025, where I have been assuming the role of Volunteering and Charity Fundraising Officer. During the last academic year, we have been working to launch an expansive Volunteering Initiative across the ArtsUCL sphere, with social impact at its core. This scheme is in its pilot phase. It has been an absolute pleasure working on this project, as well as several others (including two upcoming festivals) , during this course. Being elected as Vice President would not only allow me to continue my work in building and maintaining fruitful ties across the volunteering division of the Students Union, but would enable me to hone in on the organisational skills and hands-on experience that I have gained over this past year. Having been both a previous committee member and an active participant of the Society has provided me with the unique insight into what members want to see from the Society, further bettering me for the role. As prospective Vice President, I would strive to enhance inclusivity and opportunities across the society through our myriad of existing means and to hopefully establish new opportunities for participants to get involved! It would be a privilege to work alongside the elected President in ensuring the effective and prosperous running of the Society for the coming year.
