best thing I did this year was join dramasoc and artsucl <3 throughout the year, I've worked on 4 artsucl productions (The Welkin, A Little Tragedy, Summer and Smoke, and Carousel with MT) and took photos for countless more, all while getting to meet so many talented friends x
my experience as assistant producer means I've been responsible for many different tasks, all while being organized and proactive! I learned how to engage through marketing, the room booking system and scheduling, and communicating efficiently with some amazing teams! I've also worked retail for years, so I know how to deal with lots of questions at once during a busy season, being aware of what's going on everywhere at once, and how to deal with things going wrong all the time :))
my main goals for this year if elected as secretary:
⭐️ helping with the implementation of artsconnect, while also creating a central calendar for dramasoc to organize all the amazing opportunities offered!
⭐️ transparent and accessible information for all society members, including an organized central process to help aid productions, and pre-made templates to supports auditions and production!
⭐️ continuing with the newsletter, while also creating new and innovative ways to boost society engagement!
⭐️ collaborating with all committee members to ensure more opportunities for freshers, those new to the society, and those intending to continue arts professionally!
