I love Drag Soc, and I want to help incoming generations feel welcome in it. I'm proud to be part of this fantastic and talented team that has added so much to my university experience.

My ultimate goal is to make Drag Soc the best and most inclusive it can be, as a safe space for artists to build friendships and support systems, while exposing themselves to performance opportunities - wether they want to pursue drag as a career, or just dabble for fun.

Welfare officers are essential to the effective operations (and the existence) of the society. If elected, helping society members resolve difficulties will be a duty I'll take seriously. Drag, as an art form, has historically been a haven for those who felt marginalized, and/or sought creative expression through performance. I believe this is a legacy that grassroots drag communities, Drag Soc included, are integral to. So, the importance of members' welfare cannot be overstated - the more energy we put into collaborating and supporting each other, the more our creativity and community will thrive.

As welfare officer, my simple goal is to maintain the safe, creative and inclusive environment that Drag Soc has always championed. I want to give future members the best our amazing society has to offer: an environment built on a thrilling combination of artistic flair and siblinghood.
