I am Kata Mesterhazy, a 2nd year Politics and International Relations student, also the current treasurer of the Diplomacy Society.

I'm running for President of the UCL Diplomacy Society to provide real opportunities, mentorship, and a supportive community to help you take the next step in your career.
My plans for next year include:

- CV & interview prep
- Career insights from other students who’ve secured top roles at NATO, House of Commons, UN, etc.
- Organizing a diplomacy Career Fair
- Diversifying Events
- Launching Women in Politics Series, to emphasize the issue of underrepresentation in diplomacy
- High-Profile Speakers –Former Vice President of the European Parliament Members of the House of Lords
- Networking & Exposure
- Explore a Variety of Careers in International Relations– Journalism, geopolitics, academia & hostage negotiation
- Expand Site Visits & Events from Embassies: Attend Chatham House, House of Commons, and foreign policy hubs together.
