Detective Society: Events Officer

Hi everyone, I'm Sofia and it's been so great getting to know you at the events we've had this year so far! 

I've always been a massive fan of detective fiction and being able to spend time with other like-minded people just as passionate as me is really fun. I love being able to share the things I'm interested in with others and being part of this community has really helped me to feel welcome at UCL this year as well as allowing me to meet lots of new people!

I'm applying to be the Events Officer next year as I really want to be able to share this experience with others and help our society grow. As Events Officer, I'd organise lots of cool events for us to take part in, such as casual regular meetups, escape rooms and scavenger hunts, as well as trying to hold joint events with other societies. I feel that this role would be perfect for me as I love to explore different activities across London and organise things to do with friends, so I hope to be able to apply this experience to our society too.
