Rohith Muthuvelu

Hello everyone, I'm Rohith, and I would love to stand for Welfare Secretary next year.

My core priority is to develop a welcoming and inclusive community required to generate political passion, exciting debate, and team spirit. This will increase both the reach of Conservative Politics and the longevity of our members' ties with it. To me, that encapsulates our role as UCL Tories; enhancing a small cog in a far larger network of ideas by substantial exposure and collaboration.

Conservative Politics extends far beyond the Tory Party. It represents a beacon of hope, freedom, and the restoration of humility and responsibility, required to protect our nation from downfall. More importantly, it represents a family of those who stand up for what they believe in. This right to speech is fundamental, and my role would be to ensure it. By listening to all opinions, publicising my email, and guaranteeing my commitment to member satisfaction, I can increase informative debate and community feel.

Finally, I believe that greater relationships required for Welfare are attained via frequent, diverse socials, often with guest speakers. I therefore intend to work with the Committee to organise this, constantly improving our repute and member enjoyment. Thank you!
