In 2023, I made a bold decision: to shift from a Computer Science degree to Biochemistry. As surprising as it may sound, this decision was purely driven by my passion for both subjects. I chose Biochemistry to integrate my Computer Science skills and make discoveries through a multidisciplinary approach. During my Computer Science degree I remained deeply engaged with Biochemistry. I worked on projects in python such as 3D prediction of molecular structures using data structures and algorithms, which led to my selection for an international undergraduate research symposium. Similarly while pursuing Biochemistry I continue to take Computer Science modules including Machine learning for domain specialists.

Leadership has been an exciting journey for me. In 2023, I served as the Lead for the Google Developer Student Club, where I organized national hackathons in Pakistan, hosting 500+ participants. I also conducted workshops on Python, Flutter, and HTML, specially focusing on female participants in rural areas to promote technological awareness. Additionally, I was the Python Bootcamp Lead Representative in Term 1 this year. I am proficient in Python and have gained experience in C++ (for Object-Oriented Programming) and R during my summer 2024 data science internship at UCL.

I believe that my multidisciplinary approach (promoting diversity and inclusivity), Python proficiency and prior experience make me a strong candidate for the role of Python Bootcamp lead.
