It's been difficult to build a home away from home, but I've loved getting to share everything from home with new friends. I don't think I realized how much Canada was apart of me until I had to leave.

Whether it was hosting my own Thanksgiving dinner (I tried to make poutine <3), or taking a trip to Ealing to visit a Timmies, it's all about reminding myself of the things I miss. I've convinced my flatmates to try maple cookies, and watch Raptors play the 76ers. I've registered to be a mail-in voter, and like to keep CBC in the background a lot of the time.

But, the cherry on top would be building a community to do all these amazing things together. It could be a trip to the pub to watch the 4 Nations, or visiting Canadian related landmarks across the UK, I would love to help bring it back and jump right into making CanSoc thrive!
