Burmese Society: Welfare Officer

As your Welfare Officer, my priority will be to ensure that every individual feels supported, heard, and valued. As an ISFJ, I bring empathy, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility to this role. With over three years of experience living in the UK, I understand the challenges of adjusting to a new environment and the feeling of homesickness. This personal experience drives my passion for supporting others, ensuring that no one feels isolated or overlooked. I’ve also faced my own challenges and experienced some of the tough aspects of life in London, so I genuinely empathize with anyone navigating difficulties here.

I’ll advocate for ensuring equality, inclusivity, and a safe environment for all. Building a supportive peer network and fostering a culture of kindness and respect will be central to my efforts.
