As Inclusivity Officer, I would strive to create an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered. At UCL, I’ve built connections across different communities, from rowing to theatre, and understand how diverse interests and identities shape our student experience. I want to ensure that inclusivity is not just a concept but a practice—whether it’s through accessible events, better representation in decision-making, or simply creating platforms for students to share their experiences.
Inclusivity as more than just a goal—it’s something we actively build every day. As Inclusivity Officer, I want to ensure that everyone, regardless of background, financial situation, or personal identity, feels they truly belong. I’m already involved in a range of societies and communities, which gives me insight into different student experiences. Whether it’s in sports, cultural societies, or academic groups, I’m always looking for ways to make spaces more welcoming and accessible.
I want to create real, practical change—ensuring events are inclusive, representation is meaningful, and financial barriers don’t stop people from getting involved. I want to use my ever growing skills to organise more events throughout the year.
