Boat Club (RUMS): Fundraising Officer

I would love to be the Fundraising Officer for RUMS Boat Club because I thrive on bringing people together and making things happen. Fundraising isn’t just about raising money—it’s about creating engaging events, rallying support, and ensuring everyone feels involved. I have strong organizational skills, a natural ability to communicate with people, and the creativity to make fundraising both effective and fun.

RUMS Boat Club has a strong tradition of raising money for charity, and I am committed to pushing these efforts further. I understand the dedication it takes—I’ve quite literally done a 3 AM erg. I want to continue building on that energy, creating events that not only raise funds but also strengthen our club’s community spirit. Whether it’s organizing engaging fundraising challenges, maybe buzzing off someone else's hair, or expanding our reach, I will work hard to ensure our charitable efforts are impactful and goes towards causes which we all support.

I bring enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. I know how to get people excited, organize events efficiently, and ensure that fundraising efforts are well-executed and widely attended. With me as Fundraising Officer, I’ll make sure RUMS Boat Club continues to make a real difference—both on and off the water.
