I want to stand for Treasurer of the Biopharmaceutical Society because I am passionate about financial management and ensuring the society runs smoothly. With my organizational skills and attention to detail, I can maintain transparent and accurate financial records, manage budgets efficiently, and help plan successful events. I believe these skills will also come in handy in the future with a job in the pharmaceutical company as well.
Hi everyone! I’m Haonan, a second-year genetics student and your current Treasurer :D
While I was serving as your Treasurer of Biopharma Soc this year, I calculated finances, secured grant funding and filled out many reimbursement forms for our society. I am experienced with budget calculation and have recorded money and sources with great detail and accuracy in multiple fundraising events in the past. Being good with numbers and currently working on a STEM degree gives me sufficient mathematical skills. I am also very detail-oriented, organized, and have a high sense of integrity and honesty, which means I can be trusted with money.
I worked closely with other committee members and would like to continue serving our members on the committee next year!
I will continue to:
- Enable transparent and error-free budgeting and expense records
- Ensure that every pound is allocated efficiently in collaboration with other committee members
- Fill out forms to authorize spending with the Student Union on time
- Assist the President and VP with administrative tasks
