Last year, our society initially lacked nominations for both president & treasurer. Though initially hesitant, I took up the role of treasurer and realized an undeniable reality, BML society had a unparalleled growth potential. Throughout this year, I believe this potential was realized. Whether it be our event on Assisted Dying, the STEMathons, or our upcoming Puberty Blockers discussion, the membership for our activities were at an all-time-high. Now, we fight for our nominations.

I wish to build and solidify this growth. Having spent my last two years on five distinct student society committees, I had the privilege of cultivating numerous relationships within the SU, alongside acquiring deep knowledge on all the required processes pertaining to the intrinsically controversial events that we host. Next year, I wish to promise standardization & consistency. I will standardize the event planning process with templates and fixed schedules & advertising, ensuring a consistent flow of events and debates throughout the year. Moreover, I plan to Expand our Outreach going beyond student societies to involve our community with professional bioethics organizations, law firms, and research institutes, helping build upon not only our legitimacy but the overall experience of our members.

Ultimately my goal for next year is simple, to Build & Foster a community of bioethicists who know more than just each other's names.

This year was our year of growth, next will be our year of triumphant.
