Bartlett School of Architecture Society: President

Hello, I'm Louis in 2nd year BSc Architecture. Having been involved in the society's activities since joining in the first year, I'm excited to be running for President!

• FAVOURITE MOMENTS
  • Meeting many new faces at the welcome week sketching picnic and pub social!
  • Guest lectures + drawing workshops throughout the year, eg. FALA x Jaewon event (got more involved this year and truly enjoyed it)
  • Bartlett Ball (of course!)
• PASSION & STRENGTHS
  • Constantly trying out new ideas, effective listener and motivated to execute.
  • Extensive experience in leading events, including hosting talks and coordinating work among a committee.
  • Multi-cultural upbringing in UK and HK.
  • Strong relationships with other years and courses, will host events geared towards different target audiences
• PROPOSALS
  • TALKS:
    • Prioritise talks + workshops and outreach to architects and academics (Basically been to all this year)
    • Modelling, Drawing, Photography, Portfolio Workshops
    • Panel discussion in a lecture-conversation-social format to boost participation, invite more international guests
  • EVENTS:
    • Pub Social, Weekly Coffee Chats to connect different years
    • End-of-term Society Dinners
    • Annual Ball
    • Bartlett Football
    • (New) Themed / Cultural Socials
  • PUBLICITY:
    • Create a website to post talks recordings, resources & events schedule
    • Promote Founders Keepers: Boost usage and donation of free materials for all
    • New Bartlett Soc merch!
  • STUDENT SPACE:
    • Encourage more usage and participation in the soon-to-be renovated space on the ground floor
