Badminton Club: Welfare Officer

Hello everyone! I’m Terry, and I’m nominating myself for the position of Welfare Officer. Though I only recently started playing badminton, I’ve quickly grown to love it—not just as a sport, but as a way to meet new people, have fun, and share great moments both on and off the court.

Badminton is more than just a sport—it’s a community where everyone should feel welcomed, supported, and able to enjoy themselves both on and off the court. If elected, I’ll focus on creating a more inclusive and enjoyable environment, ensuring that all members—both team players and social members—feel connected and valued.

I will work towards better-structured social sessions, ensuring fair play, more engagement for new members, and a stronger sense of community. Additionally, I want to promote more team cohesion, bridging the gap between competitive players and social members through events, mixed games, and opportunities for everyone to interact and bond.

Beyond the court, I’d love to introduce more social events and be a friendly point of contact for anyone who needs support.
