Yau Wai Ryan Ho

As a passionate aviation enthusiast with leadership experience and a strong commitment to fostering an engaging and dynamic society, I am eager to bring my ideas and dedication to this role. Being highly motivated, organized, and approachable in daily life, I am interested in strengthening ties with aviation professionals, organisations, and airlines in providing networking opportunities and career pathways for our members. I am committed to building a stronger community and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for both our members and to the wider community. I am excited to share my enthusiasm and introduce the fun of aviation to more people through organising events, collaborations and talks in UCL and with other universities' aviation society, in addition to airlines and organisations. As mentioned in my application to events head, I participated in British Airways' work experience programme and a virtual work experience with private jet companies in Hong Kong. Moreover, I attended events from pilot training academies such as CAE and gained flying experiences in London Elstree Aerodrome. Combining my skills gained from being the outreach officer in UCL's geographical society and organising open day events & talks in my high school, I believe I am an effective communicator, proactive leader, and team player who thrives on bringing people together to build a strong community of aviation.

Prithvi Nayyar

I am standing for re-election as President because the UCL Aviation Society is more than just a society to me—it’s a legacy I want to build. As the Founding President, I have dedicated myself to transforming a vision into reality, and in just six months, we’ve achieved extraordinary milestones, including collaborations with British Airways and Heathrow. But this is just the beginning.

With another term, I will ensure that our society not only reaches new heights but also becomes one of the most recognised and influential societies at UCL. My goal is to solidify our reputation, expand our opportunities, and create an unparalleled experience for our members. If we have achieved so much in our first year, imagine what we can accomplish with even greater momentum. I am committed to making the Aviation Society a lasting legacy—one that inspires and engages students for years to come.
