I've thoroughly enjoyed attending the automotive society's pub quizzes and F1 watchalongs - the atmosphere and community spirit at these events has been fantastic! As an avid F1 enthusiast who also appreciates other motorsports and cars in general, combined with my background in marketing, I have a natural affinity for event planning and project management. Building on this year's successful events, I aim to expand our program to include more industry speakers from fields ranging from Engineering to Economics, while also establishing collaborations with automotive and F1 societies at other universities for joint screenings and competitive karting sessions. I'm looking forward to creating an exceptional experience for everyone in the coming year!

As a passionate advocate for both social media and the automotive industry, I am excited to apply for the role of Social Media Secretary for the Automotive Society.

My most recent experience in the marketing team for UCL’s Classical Play has equipped me with the necessary skills to lead and innovate in this role. I played a key role in shaping the creative vision behind the production’s Instagram presence- by curating engaging visual content, I successfully increased engagement and broadened our reach. Furthermore, I took the initiative to recruite skilled photographers and organise studio bookings, ensuring promotional materials were of the highest quality. Through these efforts, I honed my ability to manage teams, coordinate schedules, and deliver compelling social media campaigns.

Additionally, as a regular attendee of the society’s watch parties, I have experienced its community firsthand and engaged with its content as a member. This perspective gives me valuable insight into what resonates and how the society can further strengthen its digital presence.

I believe my creativity, strategic mindset, and ability to lead and collaborate make me the ideal candidate for this role. The Automotive Society has the potential to expand its digital reach, attract new members, and strengthen its community, and I am eager to contribute to this growth. I am excited for this opportunity and I aim to enhance the society’s presence and make it a hub for all things automotive at UCL.
