Dear wonderful members of the UCL Vietnamese Society,

I've always had a knack for connecting with others, from the elderly to the little ones. During the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered at a shelter for homeless and disabled children. It was there that I learned the true meaning of compassion and resilience, lessons that have stayed with me ever since.

So, why do I want to be a Welfare Officer for the UCL Vietnamese Society?

It's simple. I am Vietnamese and love Vietnam, and I love sharing that love with others. I've been inspired by the hard work and dedication of the 23-24 committee members who've brought our community together with their events and activities. Being a part of Vietsoc feels like being with family, and I want to continue that feeling for everyone.

I see a bright future for UCL Vietsoc, one where we continue to celebrate and share Vietnamese culture with the world. With the support of past committees and all of you, I know we can make it happen. If I am a Welfare Officer at UCL Vietnamese Society, I will contribute to Vietnamese Society with all my passion, ensure a healthy community where everyone is fully and equally cared for and shared at UCL Vietnamese Society, and help other committees as well.

Here's to a future filled with friendship, unity, and lots of fun!

Warm regards,

Anna Tran.
