Hello! I'm Brooke, a first-year studying ISPS. Here at UCL, MUN has provided me with a place to engage in insightful discussions, learn new skills, and just have a good time. I served as training officer this year, and am running for welfare for 2024-2025. This year provided me with the opportunity to meet so many incredible people and give back to the society that made my first year at UCL so special.

This year, I have participated at many conferences, including organizing the delegation to ManMUN. I have helped out as training officer at the welfare drop-ins, and introduced crisis workshops and training at Tuesday practices. These experiences have made me familiar with the applications and processes necessary to be an effective welfare officer. In addition, I have previous experience working with social media and photo-editing platforms, and am prepared to try to live up to our current welfare officer Amishi's incredible posts.

Additionally, one of the most important aspects as welfare officer is to safeguard the wellbeing of the society's members. If elected, I promise to do my utmost to prioritize your safety. I will always be there to advocate for members that voice concerns and serve as the primary point of contact between the committee, society members, and the SU. I plan to continue organising drop-ins, providing snacks, advice, and a place to meet for all to wish to join. I hope that y'all will give me a chance to continue contributing to this amazing society!
