United Nations Association: Treasurer

University is hard, life is difficult but our societies are our way to escape. To enjoy the things that we hold dear and to fight for the causes that we believe in. UCLUNA, to me, is a family of like-minded individuals coming together to tackle global issues one step at a time. As your treasurer, I'll ensure that our finances will never get in the way of our hopes and aspirations as a society. In essence, I want you to Leave. It. To. Me. Having been the Treasurer of another society for a year now, I already understand the intricacies of the SU finance system with experience in handling and completing all relevant treasury duties. To add to this, my two years in national service also gave me experience in organizing, managing and executing quarterly excursions, celebrations and corporate activities for hundreds of individuals, I wish to make our next UCLMUN the next project for me to tackle with all my sincerity and experience. That's not to say that all I hope for is a mere baseline of responsibility completion nor stagnation within our society. Instead, I see next year as a year of action. I hope to expand upon our search for sponsors both for our conference and society at large. I hope to integrate ourselves with like-minded societies to expand all opportunities for all our members. And I hope to multiply our large events for both networking, socialization and fundraising opportunities. Next year, is our year of action and I hope that you'll trust to leave it to me.
