Sofiia Dikhtiarenko

Hi - I'm Sonia (Sofiia)! I am a first-year Politics, Sociology and East European Studies student at SSEES and am very excited about the opportunity to contribute to the vibrant community of the ucl.ua.

As a Ukrainian student, I'm passionate about helping Ukraine gain more recognition in the international arena and believe that promoting it here at UCL is a great way to start. That is why I decided to run for the position of Communications Manager at the Ukrainian Society.

Over the past two years, I've had the privilege of working as an SMM manager, where I've honed my skills in navigating diverse communication channels and implementing effective strategies that enhance engagement. I'm confident that these skills, coupled with my commitment to educating about our country, would make me a great fit for the Ukrainian Society committee member. 

As Communications Manager, I will work closely with the committee members to ensure we work collaboratively to achieve our shared goal - promoting Ukraine in all its diversity. In addition, I guarantee clear and productive communication with the society's members and wider audiences. I will make sure we listen carefully to your needs and suggestions so that the committee can take effective actions towards fulfilling them.
