Charlotte Burdon

Hi, I’m Charlotte!

I’ve been in the tennis comittee for the past few years and want to stay involved.

I’m interested in becoming welfare officer because I want people to have as great an experience with the tennis society as I have had :) I think that for a society as big as ours, having someone to ensure well-being is very important, and I’d love to be that person.

I would suit this role because I enjoy connecting with new people and am eager to promote inclusion within the society.

I will make sure to be approachable so that our members can easily come to me and voice their concerns!

Ezatul Syafiqah Mohd Nazri

Hi everyone! My name is Ezatul Syafiqah, but most of you probably know me as Iqah. Some of you may know that I'm currently one of the LUSL captains, but for the upcoming academic year I'd like to run for something new :)

My friends always tell me that I care a lot (sometimes a little too much) about others. In exact words, "Iqah, you put too much effort in people you barely even know." Well then, imagine the effort I'd put into people I genuinely care about. I'd like to use that character of mine to an advantage by standing for the position of Welfare Officer. Over the past two years being in the tennis club I have gotten to know many of the members through trainings, matches, volunteering for R&D and through the club's events. As a candidate, I think the most important aspect of holding this position is constantly being aware of the members' physical and mental health, as well as being inclusive and considerate towards various backgrounds. This is what has been consolidated by our current Welfare Officer (shoutout to Rebecca Ju!!!) which is what I admire about her and I aim to continue this positive representation.

Vote me for Welfare Officer 24/25 and I can guarantee you will receive the love and care you need ;)
