Ulysse Richard

I have been a committed and active member of the UCL tennis society this year. As a member of M2, I have especially enjoyed the 'Space Race' and the weekly socials at the Rocket. I am running for Social Secretary so that our society can continue organising such great events for our members. I have taken on a leadership role before, acting as Head of Education for two years in a student-led organisation geared towards teaching English. During this time, I developed my organisation skills while planning lessons and assigning classes to teachers. I think these qualities will help me excel in this role. My main goal is to make weekly events as enjoyable as possible to attract more members of the society to socials. I plan to arrange drinking games at the Rocket to encourage members to meet people and form new friendships. I also aim to organise more charity tournaments to increase comradery while doing something positive for the community. Furthermore, arranging I will arrange socials, during which members can watch tennis matches together. I think this would be a good way for us to share our common love for tennis.

Addy Bradley Glinister

Since coming to UCL I have been passionate about taking a part in social events. I now feel that I should play a bigger role and want to take the lead on them. I believe that I have the organisational skills to do this role effectively. Furthermore, I want the socials to be inclusive and fun for everybody as they are an important part of our society. I already feel comfortable bringing fresh ideas to socials and with my team and now want to expand this to the whole of UCL tennis.

Aryaman Rajeev

I am applying for the social secretary position because I believe I have great ideas to uphold and improve the current traditions alone with some new ideas to integrate the tennis community. I love the tennis community we have at UCL and with my experience planning events, I can make a strong positive impact on the Tennis Society.
